OUR SERVICES
Door supervision and event security tailored to each client, across Manchester and Lancashire, with teams available UK wide for festivals and major events.
DOOR SUPERVISION
VELA Security provides SIA licensed door supervisors and head doors for licensed premises, including bars and nightclubs. Teams operate in line with the premises' licensing objectives, maintaining incident and refusal records and reporting to venue management throughout each shift.
EVENT SECURITY
We provide security services for concerts, arenas, sporting events, private functions and community events. We engage with organisers, venue management and local authorities at the planning stage, ensuring that search procedures, entry, crowd circulation and exit arrangements are agreed in advance.
FESTIVAL SECURITY
Our teams cover gates, perimeter, production areas, campsites and overnight operations. Deployments are structured with clear lines of command, scheduled welfare breaks and written handovers between shifts.
STEWARDING
Trained stewards manage queues, wayfinding and crowd flow under the direction of SIA licensed supervisors. All stewards are briefed before each shift on the site layout, the operational plan and escalation contacts.
LABOUR SUPPLY
We supply BS7858 screened officers and supervisors to other security providers, in either client or VELA uniform. Licence verification and documentation are completed prior to deployment.
MARTYN'S LAW SUPPORT
VELA Security offers guidance, staff awareness and evacuation planning to assist premises and events in preparing for their upcoming duties under Martyn's Law.
